Josh's baptism. When did he turn 8? For real, he was tiny just yesterday and now he is 8! This was a perfect day! The weather was just beautiful, as was our sweet Joshua.
Grammy and Papa drove in from the beach to join in the special day.
We also had Great- MeeMaw, Bubbie, & Pop Pop come to celebrate.
Two of Josh's cousins were also in attendance.
Here are a few of the fellas in our families: uncles: Ty, Ricky, & Kellen, along with G, Clyde, Jacob and Josh.
Here is our Bishop, Josh's Primary teacher, Brother Y and our friend Ben. Thank you to all of our dear family and friends who helped make our day fabulous. Thank you to Grammy and Pop Pop for speaking, Cheryl and Rochelle for playing the piano, and to everyone who came!

Each of our children had roles to play as well...Jacob gave a touching opening prayer, Erin gave the closing prayer and Libby was supposed to direct music but shyed out of it at the very last second...literally. Penny was just a super helper, trying to pass out the programs. Josh asked me, when we were preparing for company, if I was going to say something @ his baptism. Since I currently serve in our wards Primary Presidency, I have done this, but told him that our Primary President would be doing it that day. In a way I think he was a bit bummed. So, it worked to his favor that Cheryl, the PP, was getting over a cold and had lost her voice. I got to say a few blubbery words and for me it made the day complete. Even though I wasn't planning on saying anything, it was nice to have a small part in his day. Clyde gave a beautiful confirmation blessing, which was very touching. This couldn't have been a better day.
