thanksgiving fun

Happy Thanksgiving! We went to my folks house for some family fun. Not all of my siblings and families were there, but we enjoyed the few that made it! After lunch we went outside to help feed the horses. Slim and Fly were out in the pasture, so Bubbie loaded up the wheel barrow with hay and grain and gave Jacob and Penny a ride over to feed the horses. They loved it! We had a blast!
The Wardlings stayed @ my folks' house Thanksgiving nite, so that we could go shopping this morning. (Our original babysitting plans fell through@ the last moment. Thankfully Mom and Dad said that the Wardlings could spend the nite.) Clyde and I were up before dawn to hit the stores. What mayhem! We were successful in our determination to get what we went for. Again, what mayhem and foolish behavior on some people's part! We had fun going from store to store and going out on a breakfast date. I just love spending alone time with my Clyde!
When it was time to get the Wardlings, we found them all done up...boys included! They all had rubber bands in their hair. Some in mohawks, others randomly spiking out, while others had little tiny twisty knots in their hair. The Wardlings had such fun @ Bubbie and Pop Pop's house!
