Maylee and her friend Jared came up for a visit this weekend. We decided to go to the zoo as a big crew. (like my rhyme?) We Wardlings mainly walked North America and split up after that. We had a few tired wee beasties on our hands. I really enjoy the zoo. I like the African animals...rhino's, giraffes, monkeys, zebra's but I really love watching the sea lions and the Polar bear. I could sit and watch for hours. The Wardlings + J all had their favorite animals and played hard @ the zoo. Our boys climbed everything that the possibly could, from the big rocks, to the rails along the trails, to the walls. The girls were a bit more reserved, but adding spice in conversation. Penny drug around a bag with Halloween candy in it all day long. She clutched it to her, refusing to let anyone else touch it. The weather was beautiful making today a fabulous day for a visit to the zoo.

That was a very fun day...but between the four miles we walked and me crashing down your stairs early that morning, by yesterday i felt like i'd been hit by an 18-wheeler! It was all worth it though!

Don't feel bad, it wasnt your fault! I'm sorry that you thought it was one of your own...i'm still so very impressed that you were up, out of bed and out your bedroom door screaming Penny's name before i even hit the ground completely! I think you really do sleep with one eye open!
just one ear apparently... i didn't hear ANY of the children coughing, just the thud of you falling down the stairs. i hope that your back isn't so bruised today. owie!
