Around 5ish yesterday evening, we heard fire trucks that were really close. We live near a fire station, so we hear them scream by, several times a week. This time they sounded alot closer. It turns out that a townhouse on our street, was on fire. There was a big crowd of neighbors outside our house. The children were all scared. To be honest, this was a bit unnerving. As we were leaving for the talent show @ school, this is what it looked like. There were several more down the street to my right, but having this many fire trucks in one spot, was a sight. We also had EMS and fire chiefs as well. There were alot of lights twinkling on our street! It's good to know that we live so close to people who would be willing to risk their lives to save ours.
