UNC-G basketball

Clyde and Maylee took 3 of the older Wardling to the UNC-G basketball game yesterday, after GBH's funeral. Maylee, Libby, and I went to that. Libby fell asleep during the funeral. She was exhausted from the sleepover the night before. That will have to be another post, because I am not thrilled about what happened @ the party. Back to the game...Clyde, being a student @ UNC-G, gets a free student ticket for each game. Clyde went to the student counter to get his ticket. The gal behind the counter was passing out tickets to anyone who looked student age, without checking their student ID's. So, she's dealing them like UNO right, and once she sees Clyde standing there, she stops and asks him for his id. Clyde said to her, "You didn't check their ID." She claimed that she did and Clyde pounced. He told her that he was standing right there and that she hadn't. His actual words were, "you're lying, if you had checked their ID's then they would still have them in their hands and none of them have them in their hands. Hey- fellas, did this woman check your id?" He also went on to tell her that he didn't appreciate that because he is slightly older than those guys, with glasses and a goatee, that is didn't mean that he wasn't a student, & that as far as she knew, he could be a professer there with his children. The gal's face got really white with fear. He was happy to flash her his student ID to make his point. Clyde said that he was going to send a letter to the athletics department and complain. Once they got their tickets, and concession stand items, they marched in and found their seats. Clyde is impressed with Kyle Hines, a power forward/ center. He is the all time leading scorer and rebounder @ UNC-G. He is ranked the 10th best forward in the nation. He wanted the kids to say that they had seen him play college ball. UNC-G beat Elon by something like 34 points too. Clyde says that Hines is going pro. Just a special treat for the kids. They had a blast. Then Maylee treated us to a Chinese take-out dinner. It was de-lish! Thank You Maylee!!
