Clyde and I realized that our children haven't left the house in a few days. This is mainly due to Penny's croup. We all needed to get out and say hello to the outside world. We took the wardling's downtown to eat lunch at one of the Emerald City's finest eateries, Yum Yums. Most of us enjoyed a hot dog, which is an oddity because not all of us like hot dogs. Jacob said he liked them because he couldn't taste the wiener. Penny wasn't thrilled because the wiener was red.
After our bellies were full, we headed downtown to the fountains. They played in the fountains and then we continued on our tour, stopping at a bakery and the Woolworth's museum. This was such a fun day of our summer vacation.
