Two Sunday's ago we got a phone call from Becki, Clyde's Mom, telling us that Ed (Papa) had a heart attack. He was in the ER in Myrtle Beach. We waited all day, even left church early, not knowing what to expect. Turns out after some extensive testing, that he had some serious heart problems. We left the Emerald City Monday morning to head down to Charleston, SC where he had been transferred to visit with him before surgery. Talk about scary. The good news is that after a quintuple bi-pass, he made it through. We love you Papa and hope that you heal up fast! (Clyde took this photo after surgery in the ICU recovery room.)
