A few of us Wardlings went to visit my folks yesterday, as Clyde drove to meet up with his folks to get the remaining Wardlings. While @ my folks' house, we helped just a smidge in their garden. They had spent the majority of their day in it, so we just caught the tail end. Jacob thought it would be hilarious to dump sand from the barn on his sister's head. Penny looked like a dirt bombs had hit her hard. She put Pig-pen, from the Peanuts characters, to shame with the dirt. Boys.
Clyde and I were invited to play softball this morning, with some fellow members of our ward. Only 9-10 of us showed up, so not quite enough to have 2 teams. So we just took turns hitting and on our 5th hit, we then played as if we were playing a game. It was fun to get out and play. I haven't played softball since middle school when I was on an organized team. I did get a few strikes but not bad for the lack of playing. Clyde could seriously crack the softball anywhere he wanted to. It was quite fun to watch. Hopefully the softball gig will pick up, so that we can play more often.
