This is what it looks like outside our door today. There is still plenty of snow to play in.

crazy weather we're havin'
Due to the weather yesterday...some serious rain, church was cancelled. It was cancelled in fear of how it would be when we left church, icy. It was nice to have a Sunday home even if it was rainy and very cold. We had arranged for our dear friends, the E family, to come over and eat with us. We still had them over and had a wonderful time playing Wii and enjoying one another's company. Clyde and I kept a watchful eye out for the snow that was to come. It did start snowing around 11 or so and it had covered the ground by midnight. The Wardlings woke up way too early this morning (breaking our 8 o'clock rule btw) and helped themselves to the playground that is our back yard. Once breakfast was over and bedrooms were straightened up again, then we dressed everyone and went outside for some serious Wardling snow play! What a fun spring break we are having!

dessert fridays
Maylee and Jared came to visit us on Friday night. We did nothing. It was nice to sit and be. The fellas caught up on their sleep even. We were all watching "Iron Man" and they crashed. How sweet are they?
We have a new cousin! We are so thrilled about it too! J's school has dessert Fridays and he brought it with him. They got out the cake Saturday morning and shared it. Oh sweet...cousins.
Here is what the table looked like after the cake was all eaten.
And this is a sweet pic of the cousins cleaning up their mess. Nothing like cousin team work!
It is quite evident that I take loads of pictures. When Maylee and Jared were leaving, Penny grabs my camera and proceeds to document their leaving. This is the picture that Penny took of her aunt and new uncle.
hurricanes

Clyde and his buddy Jessup went to a Hurricanes game last Thursday. They had to make up for going last week but on the wrong night (doh!). JJ came and picked up my Clyde and they were o.f.t. to the capitol city to watch the hockey players knock each other out.
