pumpkin brains...
The day of our Halloween party, Clyde carved the pumpkins. Jacob was all in, until his hand touched the gooiness of the pumpkin's brains.
He let Clyde finish the job up. Too bad I didn't get any pictures of the after pumpkins. They were amazing!a dress for ava
Penny's pre-K teacher from last year had a special request for me. Her daughter was getting married and they couldn't find the perfect flower girl dress that would match the bride's dress and she wanted me to make it. After redoing the the bodice twice, this was the final dress. It turned out so loverly. Ms. Susan loved it and that's all that mattered to me.
shop talk
Forty one maids were needed for a recent production at the shop. The shop needed about 17 new aprons. I made 12 of those things. I never want to see another apron. ever.
I was on my feet so much that week, that my ankles and feet swelled. (I know it is a gross photo. feel free to keep scrolling down!)

During Halloween, a man wanted to be Kenny Rogers for a competition in WS. Mrs. D had to order a beard/ mustache combo. When it arrived, it was WAY too long for aKenny Rogers beard, so it needed to be cut. I love this picture of behind the scenes at a costume shop...

state fair
We here in the Brown house go to the NC State Fair every other year. This was the other year to go. We had a blast! Grammy and Papa drove to meet us there. Our camera decided to give us a hard time that day, so the majority of our pics are cell phone pics, which haven't been uploaded yet. We loved spending the day together as a family!
